Join Team WRAL this year for the SPCA of Wake County’s K9-3K Dog Walk on April 21.

For the second year in a row, we will be walking in honor of our newshound Tracker, who passed away in February 2011 after several medical battles, including seizures.

The event starts at 10 a.m. The 3K walk starts at 11 a.m., followed by the 1/2K Senior Walk.

Tressa, from Wake Forest, wins first place in the Best Dressed Contest Saturday morning at the SPCA of Wake County's K9-3K, thanks to her owner, Sandy.

There will be live music and dog contests, including best howler, dog and owner look-a-like, best dressed or costume, longest ears and best kiss.

The fun continues in Moore Square until 2 p.m.

Walk with us or just donate to the cause. The event raises money for homeless pets.

We hope to see you there!
