'The Bodyguard' returns to theaters for one night

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, "The Bodyguard" starring the late Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner will play at theaters across the country on March 28.

In the Triangle, you can catch "The Bodyguard" at North Hills in Raleigh and Crossroads in Cary. You can pre-order tickets now. 

"The Bodyguard" soundtrack spawned a number of hits for Houston, including her hugely successful remake of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You."

    "The Bodyguard" is one of my favorite movies. I saw it in the theater twice when it came out in '92 and I'd love to see it in the theater again. I know they're playing due to Whitney Houston's death and I find that honorable. I'd see it again for sentimental reasons. I don't have any problem with their making money on it. Why are you guys so pessimistic and critical?

    @tierne - MONEY! That's the only reall reason. Had Whitney been alive we would have not even known there was an anniversary! Not sure who would pay to see it......it's on tv all of the time for FREE!
