Fishel to host Disco-Tech fundraiser at Museum of Life and Science

The words Greg Fishel and boogie down don't end up in the same sentence often. But WRAL's Chief Meteorologist will be doing just that during a special fundraiser at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham on June 1.

The words Greg Fishel and boogie down don't end up in the same sentence often. But WRAL's Chief Meteorologist will be doing just that during a special fundraiser at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham on June 1.
The event, billed as a Night at the Museum Disco-TECH! Boot up and Boogie Down, will feature food, drinks, entertainment and disco dancing. You can even use available iPads or your own mobile phone to order drinks, upload photos or text or tweet.

The social networking in action will be displayed on large screens in each room.

The fundraiser will help the museum continue to do its hands-on programs and exhibits.

Tickets are $70 each and $750 per table, and they go on sale Monday.
