Idol winner Scotty McCreery sang his single "I Love You This Big" to a group of very special woman on Sunday.

The Garner country singer dedicated the song to breast cancer survivors during the annual Hoops 4 Hope game at North Carolina State University. The woman took the court during halftime to be honored for their courage.

Hoops 4 Hope was started by Hall of Fame N.C. State women's basketball coach Kay Yow, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2009.

Following McCreery's performance, he posed for photos and even signed a few autographs.

It was inspirational to see these women being honored for their fight and it was even better to see the joy on their faces when they saw Scotty. They all wanted a photo and a hug!
