Another post about a chocolate-themed event before Valentine's Day, you must be shocked! But this one is pretty special.

Proceeds from the 13th Annual A Chocolate Affaire and its accompanying champagne brunch go to support the non-profit Cancer Support Center, which offers free services to cancer patients in the Triangle and beyond. The center's special services include a holistic recovery approach for survivors that uses yoga, acupuncture, nutrition, massage therapy and counseling.

This year's events are the Durham Millennium Hotel.

The champagne brunch runs from 12:30-2:30 p.m., followed by the A Chocolate Affaire.

Admission to both is $120 per person. It is just $60 to attend the Chocolate Affaire.

If you go, expect live and silent auctions and delectable chocolate.

Pretty sweet! (Pardon the pun!)
