What's your weapon of choice: rock, paper or scissors?

The Triangle Rock, Paper, Scissors Showdown takes the game we all grew up playing to a new level. Thirty-two contestants will battle through an NCAA-style bracket to become the champion and winner of a trip for two to Las Vegas, including round-trip tickets, accommodations and some spending money.
It all goes down on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, at The Union in Raleigh.
If the idea of prizes isn't enough for you, it is also for a good cause. Proceeds will benefit Learning Together, a Raleigh nonprofit with programs for children with and without developmental delays.

Registration for the Triangle Rock, Paper, Scissors Showdown begins on Feb. 15. It is $10 if you register in advance and $15 for night-of registration.

Organizers said if participation is high, they might open up another 32 slots.
