Site SearchOne of my favorite weeks of the year starts on Monday. It's Triangle Restaurant Week, when local places offer special three-course pix-fixe menus at discounted prices.
Menus range from $15 at lunch to between $20 and $30 for dinner.
The week always gives me an excuse to check out a new restaurant I have been meaning to try or head back to an old favorite. After I moved here, one of my first TRW visits was to The Big Easy in Raleigh. I quickly got hooked on their crawfish etouffee.
This year, Raleigh has the most restaurants participating with 44, followed by Durham with 21 and Chapel Hill with nine.
