Amra's celebrates Sinatra's birthday with night of jazz

Posted December 12, 2011

Monday would have been Frank Sinatra's 96th birthday. To celebrate "Old Blue Eyes," Amra’s in Raleigh is presenting an evening of jazz and swing headlined by Sinatra impersonator Bill Stonehouse.

Bill will perform two sets starting at 8:30 p.m. In between sets, Deejay Frankie Hagan will spin modern and swing era jazz.

No cover charge. Amra's is open until 2 a.m.

What is your favorite Sinatra song? I love "Fly Me to the Moon."

I love all of Sinatra's songs, but "The Lady is a Tramp" is my favorite.
