'Cinderella' takes the stage at Raleigh Little Theatre

Posted December 8, 2011

The beautiful, mistreated, soon-to-be princess takes the stage once again with a fairy godmother and the ugliest stepsisters in the land. Raleigh Little Theatre has been producing this live fairy tale for 28 years now.

As you may expect, this show is a big draw for families. Little princesses can visit Cindy’s Boutique in the lobby to stock up on sparkly “magic” wands and miscellaneous other royal necessities. The cast comes out after every performance to sign autographs and meet the audience.

Don’t worry parents, there’s a fair amount of material for you that the little ones won’t necessarily find as hilarious as you may find it…like the fact that the stepsisters are actually not sisters at all, if you know what I mean.

Cinderella opens Friday, Dec. 9, on Raleigh Little Theatre’s Main Stage and runs through Dec. 18. Call the box office at 919-821-3111 for tickets, or visit their website.
