Santa Ball benefits Boys and Girls Clubs

If you are looking for a great way to help children this holiday season and spend a fun night in downtown Raleigh, you might want to check out the 5th Annual Downtown Santa Ball. 

The event, sponsored by Raleigh Downtowner Magazine and Downtown Raleigh Marketing, collects toys and cash donations for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County. 

The party kicks off at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, at The Union Tavern at 327 W. Davie St. Free food, beer and wine will be offered. There will be a cash bar for other drinks. Door prizes will be awarded.

The price of admission: An unwrapped toy (retail value at least $20) for a child ages 5-14, or a cash donation of $30 or more

Attire: Suit and tie for men, dresses for women
