Tickets on sale now for 'Jay & Silent Bob Get Old'

If you are familiar with filmmaker Kevin Smith, then you likely know Jay and Silent Bob. The two characters (played by Jason Mewes and Smith) appeared in nearly all of Smith's movies in the 1990s and early 2000s - "Clerks," "Mallrats," "Chasing Amy", "Dogma" - and even starred in their own film, "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."

If you are familiar with filmmaker Kevin Smith, then you likely know Jay and Silent Bob. The two characters (played by Jason Mewes and Smith) appeared in nearly all of Smith's movies in the 1990s and early 2000s - "Clerks," "Mallrats," "Chasing Amy", "Dogma" - and even starred in their own film, "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."

Although we haven't seen them on screen since 2006's "Clerks II," the actors who embodied these characters have remained busy recording a weekly comedy podcast titled "Jay & Silent Bob Get Old" available for free on iTunes.

Now, they are taking the show on the road. On March 15, Mewes and Smith will be recording their podcast at the Carolina Theatre in downtown Durham. Tickets for the show, which range from $29 to $49, go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.
