'REP Sings' in new downtown Raleigh theatre this Saturday

Add a little entertainment to your night out in downtown Raleigh on Saturday, Nov. 19, by dropping in on “REP Sings.” This recurring cabaret-style vocal showcase features excellent local talent, and admission is FREE.

Raleigh Ensemble Players Theatre Company has been staging cutting-edge theatre locally since 1982. They have recently moved into their new home at 213 Fayetteville St., bringing live theatre right to the heart of a thriving nightlife scene.

Members of REP’s Ensemble will begin singing at 8 p.m. and continue for about 90 minutes. You may hear anything from Broadway tunes to ballads and pop songs…all done really well. Don’t expect this to sound like karaoke!

Arrive and leave as you please. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer or soda. Have some of the REP signature popcorn.

REP’s new theatre is right, smack in the middle of so many restaurant options, there’s no need to do much walking to have a full evening. Drinks are happily served in The Foundation Bar, conveniently located in the basement of the same building. Have dinner at The Mint Restaurant right next door or directly across Fayetteville Street at The Big Easy.
