'Ello Govna! London Bridge Pub now open on Hargett Street

Posted November 3, 2011

I love new business.

When said business serves up cold pints of some of the finest ales and lagers around....I'm hooked.

London Bridge Pub officially opened its doors this week at 110 East Hargett Street in the space previously occupied by Blue Bar.

Expect cold beer, friendly bartenders, a great outdoor patio and a warm pub atmosphere with a come-as-you-are approach.

Owner Darren Bridger, formerly of managing fame at Hibernian Pub & Restaurant, has years in the industry and is one of the best guys around.

After work, watching the big game, a Saturday night out....doesn't matter the occasion, there is not a single doubt in my mind you will feel right at home at London Bridge Pub.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

Cheers,

Tyler

Appears food isn't on the offerings list... yet. According to NewRaleigh.com: "For now the public house is focused on booze and beer but the space is large enough to serve food too."
