Raleigh is America's smartest beer drinking city. Or so says Raleigh Beer Week's creator and co-founder Chris Powers.
Chris, I would have to agree.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the second-annual Raleigh Beer Week, a week-long celebration of craft beer in North Carolina's capital city.
Events range from a kick-off festival with extremely rare craft beer at Busy Bee Cafe to a night focused on handcrafted cocktails make with beer at Foundation.
If the week is as good as the maple-bourbon-aged Monk's Revenge Chris let me sample I'd say this is a can't-miss series of events.
