Cool Kid Collective

I first heard Cool Kid Collective at Napper Tandy’s while I was out meeting some friends. They immediately stood out to me.

They were playing covers, and I typically don’t like to feature cover bands. But they were playing covers that most bands normally don’t play. And they were doing it with their own twist. Something I appreciate.

So I asked around about them.

It turns out that CKC has plenty of original music. They play covers just to pay the bills. They are signed to Dirtbag Records and are about to hit the road for their 2011 tour. Their new record comes out this March.

I think you’ll find them pretty easy to digest.

Make sure you follow the links to find more. And of course, check out the video link.
