Great pipes

Posted January 5, 2011

Ted Williams is a homeless man in Columbus, Ohio, with a magnificent voice.

He says he used to be a radio announcer, but got mixed up with alcohol and drugs, and now he's begging for spare change along on Interstate 71.  Williams says he's been clean for a couple of years, and he's trying to get a gig.  A Columbus radio station is featuring him on its morning show today.

Check out the entire story, which features a video of his great voice!

Yeah, saw this from another source yesterday.

I was wondering how he'd sound doing the traffic on WRAL in the morning? ;-)

What a great radio announcer voice! I really hope someone takes notice and hires him.
