'Idol' contestant Dweyze wins me over

Here’s a quick rundown of my favorite and least favorite Idol performances from last night.

Best:

Michael Lynch – Easily his best performance. He could win this competition if he can deliver more what we saw last night.

Lee Dewyze – Love his voice. He reminds me of David Cook.

Middle of the pack:

Andrew Garcia – His version of Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" was OK. He needs to stop listening to the judges, who are obsessed with his Paula Abdul cover from Hollywood Week. Just be yourself, Andrew!

Tim Urban - I was not a big fan of his performance of "Hallelujah" last night. The judges, of course, loved it. Overall, a so-so performance.

Aaron Kelly – The judges have repeatedly told fellow teen contestant Katie Stevens to sing songs that are more "her age" and "young." Last week Aaron sang "My Girl"– a song that isn't modern or "young." The judges loved it! Finally this week, they started giving him the confusing advice they keep giving Katie. Aaron can sing, but I feel like the judges are going easy on him most of the time because they identify him as a country version of David Archuleta.

Casey James – His voice isn't as strong as the rest. He is OK, but unless he delivers and amazing performance next week, I'm off of the Casey-train.

In danger of elimination:

Alex Lambert – Love his voice, but he was stiff and uncomfortable again. Poor guy.

Todrick Hall – He has really struggled to find his way, but this week he delivered a descent performance. It may just be too little, too late for viewers.
