'Idol' contestant Didi Benami shines; others fall

Here are my picks for the best and worst last night:

Best:

Didi Benami - She went from one of the worst last week to one of the best this week with her version of Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon."

Siobhan Magnus - Her version of "House of the Rising Sun" was haunting. Loved it!

Crystal Bowersox - She can sing, no doubt. Still not feeling her dreads!

In the middle:

Lilly Scott - Still don't get her! She can sing, but I feel like every song sounds the same.

Lacey Brown - Cute hair! Great voice. Forgettable performance.

In danger of going home:

Katelyn Epperly - She went from one of the best to one of the worst this week! Simon tells her not to be corny and she gives him the corniest performance ever!

Paige Miles - I love her voice, but this week she just fell flat.

Katie Stevens - The judges have really hurt this poor girl. They tell her to choose a more upbeat song. She does and they hate it. They tell her to choose a song by a younger artist. She does and they hate that too. Although her song choices haven't been perfect, she can sing. They need to stop messing with her mind and just let her sing.

DiDi showed courage taking on Fleetwood Mac ... and she did a alright job but I don't think she shined...

Bowersox is the only one of the girls that has clearly stepped out as a front runner ... and I hope she does not take the judges advise and change up her style ... this is a girl that knows what she is good at ... she does it and she is brillant at it.

Lacy ... she is growing on me ... with her quirky little voice ... reminds my of cyndi lauper just a little ...

Lilly ... sorry just don't see the attraction ... and she murdered Patsy's song ... geesh ... it was painful to listen to.

"Perhaps some of the one they let go before the actual show, they should have kept."

Can someone decipher this please?

Perhaps some of the one they let go before the actual show, they should have kept.

People still watch this??

So far, Crystal Bowersox is the only one who can truly sing consistantly well. As for the judges... I also think they're giving conflicting advice and as much as I like Ellen... she offers nothing to the judging panel. She basically repeats what the others have said and tries to be nice and funny at the same time. They should just let the contestants sing and leave it in the hands of the voting public to decide since we're the ones who buy the music. Just my 2 cents worth on this season of Idol.

for some reason this season nobody has really stood out to become the next idol. Last season I saw great talent in Danny Gokey, Chris Allen, Adam Lambert. Crystal Bowersox is definitely the best of all the gals but for the guys I can't really say I see a winner. Also I'm tiring of the judges, not sure why Ellen is even a judge and Kara don't get why she is still there.
