In the past, Charlie Sheen's career has been eclipsed by wild partying and drug and alcohol abuse. He has been to rehab twice.
In recent years though – thanks to the successful sitcom "Two and Half Men" – he has appeared to put all of the negative press behind him.
Sheen even survived a messy divorce and custody battle with ex-Denise "It's Complicated" Richards, who accused him of threatening her and her daughters' safety, according to published reports.
But Sheen's arrest on Christmas Day for alleged spousal abuse may be something he may never overcome.
Sheen was arrested on suspicion of menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief.
Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller Sheen told Aspen police that her husband pinned her on a bed, put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her after she said she wanted a divorce, according to an arrest warrant affidavit released Monday.
Sheen has denied threatening his wife with a knife.
There are also some reports that state both parties had alcohol in their systems at the time of the alleged abuse.
If found guilty of domestic violence, what type of affect will it have on Sheen's career?
I think some viewers of "Two and Half Men" may turn their backs on the show. It may also cost him endorsements, like his successful Hanes commercials.
What do you think? Do these accusations affect your view of Sheen?

They and the Baldwin brothers are jokes when it comes to relationships with women. They may have the equipment, but they're all cave men when it comes to how to treat those you love and integrity of one's word.
Praying for anyone with the misfortune to tangle with any of them.
God bless.

Nope, not at all. All celebrities are the same as far as I'm concerned. Most are fruitcakes consumed by their own ego, and very few have much of an education at all, except for the occasional smile school grads. As long as GED's are for sale on the internet, they won't get much smarter.
