I've often wondered, what does Steven Seagal do in his spare time? Now I have an answer. He is a police officer in my home state of Louisiana.
Seagal has been serving as a deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Department for the past 10 years. His adventures are documented on the new A&E show "Steven Seagal: Lawman."
It is entertaining to watch the show and look for landmarks I recognize and hope they arrest someone I may know.
It is interesting to see people respond to Seagal. Sometimes suspects request an autograph or want to shake his hand. Pretty surreal.
After watching his skills, I would feel safe with Seagal patrolling my streets.
What celebrity would you protecting your streets?
