For the first time, WRAL.com live streamed live behind the scenes footage of the WRAL Tower lighting on Tuesday.
For about an hour, I carried around a laptop computer and a DV camcorder around the WRAL studios. (My arms are sore today!)
Through host site Justin.tv, people got a glimpse of The Sound Machine band preparing to play several holiday songs, Ken Smith's thoughts on holiday music, and Kelcey Carlson's shoe dilemma.
The footage wasn't always clear and the audio maybe needs some work. But for our first attempt, it was pretty good.
To check out all of the footage I shot, go to the WRAL channel on Justin.tv.
Here is a clip of our coverage. Note: It was dark outside and we weren't using an external microphone. This was a test run.
