Here's an unusual collection: Various "Do Not Disturb" signs from hotels.

Now, that's an odd thing to collect.  I used to collect TV station microphone flags (those little plastic cubes on microphones that show the station's logo).  I got four or five and realized that I really didn't care about them, so I sold them on eBay.  You'd be surprised at how much people pay for them.

Do you collect something odd?

I have a collection of banana stickers (by brand name) that i started about 20 years ago....About 40 different brand names. Many from travels.

I have an accidental collection of Kentucky Fried Chicken shirts. Two styles of blue oxford shirts, one with KFC and one with Kentucy Fried Chicken, and one knit golf shirt with KFC in a band across it. My wife hates the Oxford shirts (I'd wear them from time to time) but then she bought me the knit shirt at the thrift store -- heh, she liked the color but didn't notice the "KFC" in a colored band across the front. I joked that she was adding to my collection; now she hates that one too!

The oxfords are interesting in that they have little button holes where one would put their name tag ... I guess to cut down on wear and tear from the nametag pin.

I have a rather large collection of 1/18th Aircraft. They were really popular about 2 yrs ago, but the market fell flat. So now they sit on shelves in our garage.

I have quite the collection of baseball caps from the Hooters Restaurant chain. It started very simply when I would go to a different location of Hooters and buy a cap with that particular location's city and state on it. Then came connections on the internet and persons from other area would send me a cap from a Hooters near them. And them I discovered eBay . . . Long story short, I have over 300 of these caps, and no two are alike.
