Remembering Ed McMahon

Hollywood has lost another legend - Ed McMahon passed away at the age of 86, CNN reported Tuesday morning.

McMahon was best known for his role as Johnny Caron's sidekick on the "Tonight Show" for many years. He was also the face of the American Family Publishing sweepstakes.

In recent years, McMahon appeared on commercials including one for the Cash 4 Gold Web site.

RIP big guy

I remember the famous, "Heeeeer's Johnny!" Everyone knew that voice.

He was also a retired Marine Colonel and an Aviator.

Sadly, I'll remember him for going bankrupt and losing his home to foreclosure.

Too bad he couldn't have avoided all that humiliation.
