Commodore laptop

Posted April 8, 2009

Back in '85 or '86, my first computer was a used Commodore VIC-20.  Within a couple of years, we graduated to a Commodore 64.

While my brother and I were in school, my mom would sit there for hours with a book of BASIC programs, and tedioiusly enter the code to give us a game to play.  Now, that's love.  How in the world do you repay a debt like that?

Anyway, a fellow has converted his C64 into a laptop.  Wow!

I think the grey-beige case and Commodore logo are marvelous in notebook form!

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen. This man should be nominated for sainthood.

OMG! I want one of those! Programming in BASIC always made me a geek and proud of it. Then then Apple II-GS came and totally changed my world.

That' pretty cool. I got my wife an atari retro box for Christmas two years ago. She loved it. It had a ROM with dozens of games built in. They should have included a game interface though, we still have some modules floating around.

    Here, if you enjoy retro:
The first computer game I ever played ... still a good one!
