Touring Chernobyl

If you want to get a glimpse into a nuclear ghost town, click here for a tour of Chernobyl, where, according to the pictures, you don't want to get near the moss.

WARNING: You may have noticed there are a lot of classless people out there on that Internet, and some of them left filthy comments on that site that you wouldn't want your kids to see.

What a shame, because of this and 3 mile island, we have given up on the best source of cheap electricity available to us. Remember...Russian engineering is junk. This is what government control leads to.

I was all of nine years old when the disaster occurred. These photos are amazing. They brought to me a feeling that time stood still there, and the earth is slowly taking over what man left behind. Amazing--thanks for sharing.

Brian, This was an interesting site to visit. I have actually been to Kiev myself 3 times so far with my daughter and youth group. We didn't go to Chernobyl itself, though we did go to the museum that they have in town each time. I know it may be minor to some people, but you might want to warn people of some of the comments made by the commentator. I was going to leave a comment at the bottom, but couldn't justify it with the language that was used at the bottom. Normally I wouldn't say anything, but I wanted to show this to my 12 year old and have a problem with some of the comments. Just a thought.
