"Entertainment Weekly" had an interesting article a few months ago about their pop culture bucket list - things they want to do before “kicking the bucket.” It got me thinking about some of the things I want to do pop culture and otherwise.
Here is what is on my list (some of these have been completed):
Photograph and interview John Mayer - done
Meet one of the “Golden Girls”
Appear in a commercial/promo – done (I appeared in a promo for my alma mater SLU)
Perform a stand-up comedy routine
Meet comic Kathy Griffin
Ride in a Mardi Gras parade
Attend Mardi Gras – done
Sit on the stage before a concert starts – done (Voodoo Fest 2000, before the Stone Temple Pilots went on)
Get a SAG card
Take an acting class
Take an improv class
Sing in a musical – done (1996 high school production of “Guys and Dolls”)
Not see Titanic – done
See Gone with the Wind
Meet Sharon Osborne
Meet Brad Pitt
Make a basket at Cameron Indoor Stadium – done!
