Here's a neat list of the backstories of 10 famous food logos.

What's with the Morton salt girl, walking in the rain and leaving a trail of free-flowing salt?  I didn't know that salt-clumping used to be a problem, but I guess it makes sense.

What does the Quaker on Quaker Oats have to do with religion? Nothing. Although, I guess adopting Quakers as a brand drives away the Puritan market.
