More on Anoop

With tonight's "American Idol" minutes away, let's take a look at UNC grad student Anoop Desai, who successfully made it to the Hollywood round last week.

Desai is/was a member of the a capella group, the Clef Hangers. The group has a ton of stuff on YouTube, including the following video which appears to be dedicated to slain UNC student body president Eve Carson. Desai was one of the singers at a memorial service for Carson.

I have made contact with Idol and hopefully after the Hollywood round airs, Desai will sit down with RaleighWood for an interview.

POSSIBLE SPOILER: DO NOT READ THE BELOW SENTENCE IF YOU WANT TO BE SURPRISED.

Vote for the Worst has posted a possible spoiler item stating that Anoop has made it to the top 50.
