Site SearchNational Geographic is marking the end of 2008 by spotlighting the year's best space photos. They're offering what they call the ten best -- from gamma ray bursts to crazy supernovas.
Now, Captain Kirk finds all of this stuff to be old-hat. He's seen it all. But you might get a kick out of the pictures.
