What's your color?

Count me out when it comes to astrology, numerology, birthday-ology, gastroenterology, meteorology, etc.  So, this link to Colorstrology is for entertainment purposes only!

It's from the good folks at Pantone, the big purveyor of colors.  Colorstrology purports to tell you about your "personal color" based on your birthday and offers a personality guess.

My birthday is February 14, and my color is "Vista Blue."

My alleged personality: "You march to your own drumbeat and no amount of pestering will change your course until you decide to do so. You are agreeable and friendly but prefer to do things your own way. Once you have an idea or a purpose in mind, you can be relentless in your pursuit of it. No one can ever call you average. Your personal color helps you discern fact from fiction. Wearing, meditating or surrounding yourself with Vista Blue helps keep you open minded and eases any mental restlessness that you may experience."

Hmmm.  Some of that applies to me, I guess -- at least, I'd like to think so.  But I'm sure those qualities would apply to most people (or they'd like to think so).

Well, whatever.  Post your "personality profile" here.   For entertainment purposes only, of course.

UPDATE:  Our 7 a.m. morning producer checked her birthdate.  Imagine her surprise when her suggested color is the one on the walls in her house -- Deco Rose!  Weird!

now, i am sure this is inaccurate. just did one of my sons and his is potpourri. though, it would be hilarious to see him in potpourri, at over 200lbs and 6ft. tall, just think it wouldn't work on him. absolutely none of the description fits him, so this is way off base but fun to do.

I just painted my bedroom Aztec gold, the color of my birthday month, June! Wow! I checked for the rest of my family. Their colors were ones that they like. I am impressed!

renaissance rose? don't think so but the independent part is on target, people adoring me? maybe not so much. favorite color is black/dark blue in clothes and bright red and black in cars. rose just doesn't get me there.

My color is Green Spruce...I hate green.

My color is light blue, so it says. NOT...I like Green and Earth Tones. Perhaps it could be because I was born 2 weeks late and the doctor ordered a C-Section? LOL, whatever!

Mine hit it on the head. It is pastel purple and that is my color tht brightens my eys the most. good job brian.

OK, as if dealing with an impending mid-life crisis isn't enough, my color is Dry Rose.... sounds like something dead...:)

Well, I'm Mellow Green. Apparently, it's very important that I demonstrate my talents, and the expression of such talents will help me feel most vital and alive. I can be emotional because of my depth and empathy for others. My color allows for my compassion to stand out, but shocks me out of the tendency for too much sacrifice. Wearing, meditating, or surrounding myself with my color helps me stay grounded while attracting financial opportunities.

I think I need to run out and get some paint in Mellow Green, so I can attract those financial opportunities!

OK took the bait and went to the site. I have to say, it was right on for me. My color is Raspberry Wine, a deep pink, which is totally me. The description of my personality is also right on. I am going to look up my kids and husband next.

I checked myself, my husband, parents and sister. Each one was completely opposite to what we are. Like all things you get a successful hit every now and then.
