Test your color skills

Posted September 30, 2008

Here's a neat test of how well you can discern subtle changes in color.   Take the color blocks and arrange them in correct hue order.

I got a 12, with zero being perfect.  One of my pals here at the station scored a perfect zero.  Post your scores below.

Love the comments on here. I sent this to my sister who is a professor of art at a 4 year college, as well as an artist in her own right. She scored higher than me. Ha! Of course, she's alos 12 years older than I am and knowing her school, the monitor that she was lookin at was built in 1987.

Ok, I took it again and scored a 120. It says the range for a guy between 40-49 would be zero to 1462. So a 120 isn't that bad. Maybe that's why people keep telling that my yellow house looks more like purple.

I scored a 205. I have good vision, but must be freakin' color blind. Now I'm also about crosseyed after taking the test. I must have done something wrong. I'm going to try it again after my headache goes away.

Got a perfect 0 -- perhaps that explains why color "violations" have always bugged me!
