Riding a bike to work

Riding a bike to work can give you a time advantage!

Check out this video of one guy's bike ride on an Los Angeles freeway.    Don't try this at home.  Riding a bicycle on interstates or other controlled access highways is almost always illegal in North Carolina, and it probably is illegal in a lot of places.  But it's fun to watch the video.

Perhaps drivers should start getting used to the idea of looking out for cyclists over SUVs given the gas prices. If there are cyclists out there who don't obey the laws of the road, then they should be. It's called "sharing the road." Bikers have just as much of a right to be there as drivers, both should follow the same traffic laws and both should give the same amount of respect to each other.

We can't see the cyclists, theyre too small. Used to seeing monsterous SUV's that'll roll over us. It's nothing against the cyclists that fly through stop signs and disobey most traffic laws and drive in groups blocking traffic. really

I would like to ride to work, but people in cars don't seem to respect the bicyclist.
