Brian Shrader's Siteseeing Blog

Space Age and Cool Pictures

Posted April 3, 2008

Our space theme continues on Siteseeing with a neat site that let's you see how old you are on other planets.

The premise here is that planets orbit the sun at different rates.  Planets closer to the sun have shorter years than planets farther from the sun.

You enter your birth date, and the site shows you how long you have lived in other planets' years.  I range from about 121 Mercurian years old (My next Mercurian birthday is Sunday!) to a mere .117 Plutonian years old.

If your thing is big equipment, you'll like this gallery of pictures from NASA preparing the Space Shuttle for launch.
