On the Siteseeing segment yesterday, we reported an Associated Press story about a new bill Mississippi legislators are considering. It would prohibit restaurants from serving obese customers.
The AP reported:
The bill had no specifics about how obesity would be defined, or how restaurants were supposed to determine if a customer was obese.
Well, not quite. An English professor at N.C. State University sent me a link to the bill itself, and it does explain how the state would define obesity. Here's the link.
