Invisible Water!

Posted August 6, 2007

Here's a fun video with some scientific underpinnings.  These guys have filled a tub with a gas called sulfur hexaflouride.  It's six times heavier than air.   Watch the video as they put a little foil boat in the tank!

Another video on YouTube shows a guy inhaling it.  Because sulfur hexaflouride is more dense, it has the opposite effect of helium on the voice!

The invisible water was neat. I liked the other videos about as well and where can I get me an invisible coat. That was a give away as to how Mindfreak got the elephant to disappear.

Nick... it would be very hard to skinnydip in invisible water and get away with it!

A sulfur hexaflouride inhaler could only help my career.

Brian, how about delivering your next newscast after inhaling sulfur hexaflouride?

Thanks, Legs. I just hope the boss doesn't find out how much fun I'm having! ;)
