Build Your Own Hovercraft

I'll have to try this.   Stan Taylor and his physics class at Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana, built a simple hovercraft with heavy plastic, duct tape, a sheet of plywood and an ordinary leafblower.

    We did this about 20 years ago at NCSU. I'm sure it was done before then, too.

    That is a good design but using a blower for power is a bit generic. I'd like to see one that's powered by a mix of Diet Coke and Mentos. Now, THAT would be a video.
