More Google Street View Fun

Posted June 1, 2007

I told you earlier this week about Google's remarkable new map feature called "Street View."  You can now study some cities from eye-level on Google Maps.  The company took panoramic images from the streets of San Francisco, Denver, Las Vegas, Miami and New York City.

These are fairly high-resolution images, into which you can zoom pretty closely.  Drudge quickly located images of pedestrian's faces, license plates and more, raising quesitons about privacy issues.  The folks at looked through some of Google's pictures and listed the Top 15 Google Street View Sightings"

It's interesting.  Does this stuff worry you?
