One Square Per Sitting

The singer Sheryl Crow has become one of the biggest environmentalist voices from the entertainment industry. She just finished a tour of the United States, driving around in a biodiesel-powered bus, trying to raise awareness about climate change, the BBC reports.
The Beeb also reports about a posting Crow made on her Web site. She proposes a limit on how many squares of toilet paper someone should be allowed to use in one sitting. Maybe two or three in "those pesky occasions."
It was prominently linked on Drudge all day yesterday -- and it's still on there this morning.
Frankly, this one sounded to good to be true, so I checked Crow's original post. She says it's just a joke! But checking the comments on her blog, it looks as though some people on both sides of the debate took her seriously.
