EA Sports has released its simulation of the NCAA March Madness Tournament, which can be downloaded for $3 from Xbox Live for any Xbox 360 owners. As an added bonus, the download includes the actual floor from the Georgia Dome for this years Final Four.
According to the EA Sports simulation, the Final Four teams come the end of March will be defending national champions the University of Florida, along with local team the University of North Carolina, Pittsburgh University and Texas A&M University.
EA Sports runs this simulation every year during March Madness. The stop short of naming a national championship, because they can wait until the real Final Four teams make it to the dance and then run a new simulation based on that. EA Sports' videogame is aptly titled, NCAA March Madness 07. At the very least, people who are looking for some bracket help can roll the dice with this videogame.
The other game out there that's popular these days is 2K Sports' NCAA College Hoops 2K7, which features former Duke star JJ Redick on the cover. According to a simulation by 2K Sports which ran the entire tournament through to the end, Wisconsin will take it all. The Final Four includes Kansas, Boston College, Texas A&M and Wisconsin. Of note locally, the sim had UNC losing to Texas in the Sweet Sixteen 91-61.
