Cross-country road trip in just 5 minutes

Brian DeFrees left his hometown of Syracuse, N.Y., in early August and completed a two-month, 12,000-mile road trip around the country. He put a digital camera on the windshield and took a picture every five seconds, He used his pictures to create a wonderful time-lapse video that helps you appreciate just how diverse the our nation's geography and lifestyles are. Very awesome! Saw some familiar sites along the way. We have a beautiful country. Wish more people could appreciate it.

That is pretty cool, Brian. And it is about traffic!

I loved the views of the active thunderstorms he passed in the wide open spaces ... but the whole thing was captivating.
