Employee of Wake Forest gas station stabbed; suspect sought
An employee of a Wake Forest gas station was taken to WakeMed early Saturday after being stabbed, according to police.
Posted — UpdatedWAKE FOREST, N.C. — An employee of a Wake Forest gas station was taken to WakeMed early Saturday after being stabbed, according to police.
Officers responded to a panic alarm at Cruizers, 12500 Capital Boulevard, at about 4:30 a.m. The clerk, identified as Joshua Ray Lane, was awake and alert when crews responded, and he was in critical condition Saturday morning.
Authorities said the suspect was a man who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, striped shirt, black pants and white shoes.
