Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — With the May primary about a month away, WRAL's "On the Record" takes a look at the race for the 2nd Congressional district, the seat currently held by Republican Renee Ellmers.
The 2nd district stretches from Alamance County down to parts of Cumberland County. Along the way Wake, Moore and Harnett are also part of the 2nd.
Ellmers declined an opportunity to talk about her accomplishments, frustrations, and agenda.
Her primary challenger, Frank Roche, an internet talk show host and financial advisor, sat down with David Crabtree and Laura Leslie.
