— Authorities arrested an eighth person Monday in connection with a triple homicide at a Farmville convenience store.

Timmy Odell House, 28, of 411 Latham St. in Greenville, is charged with three counts of accessory after the fact of first-degree murder.

Antwan Andre Anthony, 29, of Bethel, Xavier Montel Shamble, 20, Farmville, Willie Odell Whitehead Jr., 24, of Pinetops, and Raekwon Terrell Blount, 15, of Snow Hill, were charged with three counts of first-degree murder and other charges after three employees of the Hustle Mart were shot and killed during an April 1 robbery.

Mokbel Mohamed "Sam" Almujanhi, 16, was the son of the store owner, and the other two victims, Nabil Nasser Saeed Al'mogannahi, 26, and Gaber Alawi, 24, were also relatives.

Zipporah Rochell Purvis, 24, of Farmville, and Ashley Dorthell Johnson, 23, of La Grange, also face three counts each of being an accessory after the fact. Valerie Denise Blount, 30, of Snow Hill, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

House, Whitehead's brother, was in the Pitt County jail Tuesday under a $3 million bond, police said.

"And whom again pays public defenders?"

You know who pays for it, and they will be paid for for this case or any other case that someone cannot afford an attorney. You make it sound like Robert Shapiro is going to be defending these animals, which he isn't. These "lawyers" that will be "making money at our expense" are doing their job as public defenders and will be paid ("making money at our expense") the same regardless of them trying this case or any other.

I never speak or write the O word,And whom again pays public defenders?

Oh well...not to worry...once we manage to gerrymander the jury selection process sufficiently so as to ensure a racially diverse jury appropriate to the murderer's (oops, I mean alleged murderer's) delicate sensibilities...
oh and to heck with the 3 people who lost their lives...their just flotsam in the quest for "racial justice"...

8th person?! Goodness, you'd think this was a professional bank heist for $100 million and not some local convenience store.

"And the liberal courts will do nothing in the end,,, Its a shame,, Three hard working people die for no reason. By a group being supported by the working middle class"

Please take your political commentary elsewhere. This hasn't even gone to court and you are already trying to blame "the liberals" for an outcome that has yet to be determined. It wouldn't matter if those responsible were on welfare or rolling in money. What they did was wrong no matter what their specific situation is.

I'm mostly suprised that you managed to write as much as you did without somehow blaming Obama too.

"This will be an expensive deal, courts tied up for years, Lawyers making money at our expense, perps become famous..."

I'm still not sure how "a group being supported by the working middle class" is going to be paying lawyers for a criminal trial when they are "on welfare". We already pay public defenders and that is what they will more than likely get.

Just plain dumb and senseless what they did. They need to never see the light of day again.
