RALEIGH, N.C. — "Thinking Out Loud" singer and global superstar Ed Sheeran has announced that he will perform in Raleigh at PNC Arena as part of his 2017 tour.
Sheeran will make his appearance in the Triangle on Sept. 2. Pre-sale tickets are available March 17.

The 26-year-old British singer-songwriter has sold over 22 million albums sold and 4.7 billion Spotify streams. When his second full-length album, titled "X," was released in 2014, it topped the Billboard 200 at #1 and earned two Grammy nominations, including “Album Of The Year.”

The "X" album also resulted in four consecutive multi-platinum singles, including “Sing,” “Don’t,” “Photograph” and his global smash, “Thinking Out Loud,” which marked his first #1 spot in the Top 40 radio and won a pair of Grammy awards, including “Song Of The Year.”

The tour, which starts in June in Kansas City, will celebrate Sheeran's third album, which was released in January. That album contains the song “Shape of You,” which is currently #1 in radio's Top 40 hits and in iTune's "Top Songs" chart.

More information about the Raleigh show will be announced as it becomes available.
