The Easter event database focuses on events around the Triangle, primarily, but here's something fun that's a little bit further afield ...
The N.C. Transportation Museum, which is in Spencer, N.C., about two hours form the Triangle, will host its Easter Bunny Express on March 19 and March 20 and March 25 to March 26. The event includes a 25-minute train ride with the Easter Bunny. There will be other activities such as face painting, tattoos and photos with the Easter Bunny. The museum also will offer dining with the Bunny where you can have breakfast, lunch or snack with the big guy in a stationary dining car.
Tickets range between $11 and $21 - depending on the day you go and the age of the rider. The cost for meals with the Bunny are between about $12 for a snack for two to $48 for lunch for four. At noon, March 26, the museum also will host an egg hunt.
The museum's website has more information and ticket details.
