RALEIGH, N.C. — When Gov. Mike Easley's term ends, he could find a job in woodworking.

Easley's skills will be on display on a special edition of PBS's "The Woodright's Shop." Easley and host Roy Underhill make a "Po' Boy" table.

Easley salvaged scrap wood from a furniture maker and used different-sized cans for a template to create the table.

Easley is the first North Carolina governor to appear on the show. The episode, which was taped in October, airs at 4 p.m. Saturday on UNC-TV.
