Earth Fare Morrisville, NC

Morrisville has a new healthy foods grocery store as of March 25. Earth Fare opened today in the Park West Village shopping center. They are celebrating the grand opening with some great deals this week! I love the pineapple and whole chicken prices.

The store is located at 951 Morrisville Pkwy. in Morrisville. It's near the Gander Mountain store at the intersection of Morrisville Parkway and Chapel Hill Road. Store hours are Monday- Sunday from 7 am-10 pm.

Earth Fare's mission, according to their website, is to be "the most trusted organic and natural food market in the country."

Basically, they don't sell products with high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, artificial colors and sweeteners and synthetic growth hormones in the fresh meat and dairy items.

PCB - I did not go to the opening. I have been to the Earth Fare in Brier Creek area and it's a nice store. Obviously their prices on many items are not comparable to coupon prices on non-organics, but if you buy organics, it's a good place to check out.

Faye, did you go to the opening? What did you think? That chicken price is pretty enticing. I'm sorry I didn't know yesterday when I was already in Apex. I have to make a trip to Durham one of these days soon, so maybe I'll stop in on the way back.
