Before 3:30 a.m., the Spring Lake Fire Department responded to the home in the 2200 block of Antler Drive in the Deerfield subdivision.

Video showed thick smoke, a badly burned front porch and flames shooting from the roof.

Officials did not say if anyone was in the home when the fire broke out.

Firefighters were still investigating the cause of the fire at 5 a.m.
