Durham woman indicted in shooting of acquaintance

— A Durham woman was indicted Monday for the Sept. 1 shooting death of an acquaintance.

Police say Jamelia Jaunique Thomas, 23, of North Roxboro Street, approached Jerry Wayne Morgan as he worked on a vehicle on Cheek Road. The pair exchanged words, then she shot him.

    Ok, I'll asked again, since some may know and the reported didn't know, what was she indicted for? 1st degree murder? Man slaughter? Discharging a firearm in the city limits?

    It's not about gun control, it's about prople control. Make the punishments hurt real bad and the majority will get the message, some just aren't that smart though, they end up in a cage.

    Once again a person that did not know what feet were made for a C&W song Says THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR WALKIN fools if you don,t like a person then get away from them that is what your feet were made for. She was not being threatened at that time and this is a really big country and even bigger world she had a way to move out of his way
