Residents have been held up at gunpoint and robbed of phones and other personal items in parking lots, breezeways and other outdoor common areas. Police offered the following suggestions:

  • Always have keys out.
  • Walk with a purpose.
  • Avoid dark areas of parking lots.
  • Do not carry extra cash or valuable items.

Police have also asked that anyone who sees suspicious activity or who has information about the recent robberies call police at 919-560-4583 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
